Mixer does not appear to work properly
Hi,
The mixer doesn't seem to be working properly. It won't change instrument sounds, or mute tracks or even accurately reflect the staff that is selected. The soundfont seems to be okay (i.e. if I add in a new instrument in the score, the playback reflects the new instrument), but the mixer isn't working. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

What version do you use? On which operating system?
Have you tried using: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/revert-factory-settings ?
In order to understand and assist, we would need you to attach your score and give us precise steps to reproduce the problem.
My guess is you are somehow getting confused about which channel you are selecting in the bottom half of the mixer when changing sounds in the top. You need to actually select the desired channel right there in the mixer; there is no specific connection to what you might or might not have selected in the score.

Looks like that was the problem! Accidentally on the wrong channel. Thanks!
