Problem with hiding/unhiding
I must be missing something that is right in front of me. I have checked the manual and also checked out the using Musescore course.
I created this score originally about 2 years ago and I am trying to get the final proof finished. I was using version 2.?at that time. Sometime ago I updated the 3.6.2. This score is saved in this format for sometime.
In bar 18, I have a "hidden" element that is hiding the entire last beat. I did not do this on purpose and I didn't "see" myself do it by accident. I can't even highlight it to use the V to un-hide it. I do need the beat of the measure and can't seem to figure it out. Any help is appreciated.
I am operating on a Linux platform.
Thank You All!

That score has only 4 bars (AKA measures, outside the UK)

Yes, it is a segment. The piece is monumental. Sorry, I thought the bar numbers were at the top. It is the second measure on the segment. Last beat.

That measure is 1/8 shorter than the others (see that little - sign and bar/measure püroperties)
Nothing hidden, that last 8th is just non-existent

Yes, I do. That's my issue. it "looks" to me like something is grey out or hidden. My bar measure properties says 9/8 and it wont let me add another beat. 9/8 is the time signature.

No, it says actual duration 16/16,

To be clear, 9/8 is the "nominal" duration as shown in Measure Properties, but the actual shows as 16/16. Probably you at some point pressed Ctrl+Delete with an eighth note or rest selected, and MsueScore dutifully removed that from the measure. Just change the actual back to 9/8 to fix. Or insert an eighth note directly where you want it, if not at the end of the measure (eg, in note input mode, position the cursor then use Ctrl+Shift+letter).

Thanks Marc! How simple was that!
