Tinkering with Midi [SOLVED]
I don't even know if it's possible. I'm hoping to make a Midi file that will "play" my Lowrey Marquee organ.
As of now, it's just sending the GenMini sound through, It's not "pressing keys".
I have four staves for my four keyboards and in the voices I've assigned channels.
I'm looking at the Midi Prefs... What is Export RPNs... Manual doesn't say.
Thank you for any assistance,
Joe

Sounds like a question you'd need to ask on a Lowrey forum. museScore creates standard MIDI files, so it's up to each device to decide what to do with that.

I have the organ configured to accept midi instructions and send them to the keyboards.
I'm wondering if I need to have Musescore configured to export the midi file to operate another device. If that's even possible.

But, I'll ask the guys in the UK. They would know!

Well, I thought you were suggesting you had already created the MIDI file. If you haven't then simply go to File / Export to create one. Or if you don't actually want to create a file but instead have the playback within MuseScore send to a MIDI output device (like if your organ is connected to the computer via a MIDI or USB cable), go to Edit / Preferences / I/O and select the MIDI output device there.

I did and it's attached to this thread. So I'm having lunch and then will attempt the second method. The laptop is setup and connected. But I gotta eat!

I believe I need to connect my laptop via Midi to the organ and have the laptop play the midi file to control the organ.

It works... sort of.
