Hide a Measure When Export to pdf
I searched and found some stuff for this, but I'm not sure if any of the results answered my question. Since Musescore is unable to export the sound of the metronome count-in to mp3, I added a measure at the beginning of my score with a clave in the snare part. I use Musescore for marching percussion. Well, I want to make that measure unseen when I export the score and the individual parts to pdf. I was able to make the contents of that measure invisible, but the measure is still there when I export to pdf, it's just empty. I want to to be completely unseen. I have attached three files:
Musescore Snip - This is what it looks like in Musescore when I make the measures invisible.
Score Snip - This is what the score looks like as pdf. I want the first measure to not even be there.
Snare Snip - Snare part pdf. Same desire as the score pdf.
Is what I'm trying to do even possible?

That makes the entire part gone. I don't want to add another instrument line, I just want to make that one first measure for all of the parts not seen. Is that not possible?

I'm not trying to add a metronome sound through the entire piece, I'm trying to add what would be equivalent to a count-in measure so the mp3 doesn't just start right on the song.

Maybe I didn't understand well what you want to achieve but if you add a instrument (inserting the notes only in the first measure) and make it invisible (another one, not one of those in the score) you can export the parts (one visible instrument+one invisible).

I know I can do that, but I don't want to add another instrument. I want to add one measure to the beginning of the score (just like my picture showed), put four quarter note beats on one part, and then make that entire measure not seen when I export the parts to pdf. Is that not possible?
Or to simplify my question... Maybe I just want to make any random measure in the score disappear when I export to pdf.

Could make a solid white graphic of a suitable size, using the MS camera function, and overlay it?

You mean just cover it up? That's not what I want. I want it to disappear and the measures after it visually shift to the left. Just like if you add another instrument and then make it invisible. It disappears and everything below it shifts up.

How about putting in a page break after the count-in bar. Then insert a text frame at the top of what’s now the second page with the title, etc. I think the playback would work as you want, while you only need to print the pdf from page 2.
Try faking it with a negative horizontal frame
