Can I use 3rd party VSTs with MuseScore?
Dear Anyone.
OK. Only just discovered MuseScore (talk about slow!!) I'm already using a notation prog. with loads of different VSTs - mostly 32-bit, made by all kinds of people, some freeware, some very much paid for!
Can Musescore use other people's VSTs? If so, do they have to be 64-bit or can it use 32-bit as well? I'm about the least techie person you'll ever fall over but I've read you can use 32-bit in a 64-bit environment but not the other way around. Is that true with MuseScore or does it only use its proprietary sounds?
If you CAN use 3rd-party VSTs and plugins (like EQ, Reverb, stuff like that, and things like Kontakt, various Maizeplayers, SF2 Soundfont player, Edirol Orchestral, things like that) is there a manual that tells you how to do it?
Yours hopefully,
Chris, who's HOPING it uses VST3s as well as 32-bit/64-bit VSTs because my current DAW, Quick Score Elite Level 2, can't use those, it's too old, poor thing!

Musescore can only use VST3.
