Piano Roll Editor: Len vs Duration
What is the relationship between the Len value which can be set from the top-right field and the Duration which can be set in the lower part of the screen? Can this Duration be set via the plugin API?

As far as I know, it's just two different words for the same thing, worded differently because different people worked on the code at different times :-)

Len is limited to 2000 and duration is unlimited. I have checked in the MSCX file and they generate the same tags so you must be right.

What's the relationship between the values entered in these fields? They both generate but entering a Duration of 9 in sets the Len field in PRE to 1053.

Duration = Shorten or lengthen by thousandths of a semibreve (whole) note
Duration (multiplier) = Multiply the duration by thousandths of the full note (i.e. self) duration
