Breaking and Centering Staves
I saw that it is possible to break a measure and at the end of the piece have a shortened staff. Is it possible to shorten a staff, say 2 measures, then reposition it so that it is centered on the page? I'm creating a children's piano-vocal method book so in my case there will be the two staves. Below is attached a PDF of a couple of pages and a note further describing the issue.
I also was questioning placing pictures on the page, but I'm pretty sure that works just fine from what I read. It's more a matter of making sure I can move the staves around to make space for the pictures.
