transposing chords
I just imported a XML score. The chords are correct in the full score but they are not transposing for the Bb trumpet. Should this happen automatically or do I have to do it manually?

It's possible the MusicXML file was not up properly for the transposition. In order to investigate, we'd need you to attach that.

When I load that file, the chords on the trumpet staff seem transposed correctly. But, it doens't seem to be quite the same version as the MSCZ file you posted originally. The MusicXML file doesn't have any chord symbols on that staff until measure 37. The MSCZ file has them starting at measure 21, and it's actually only those extra chord symbols that appear to not transposed. But actually they are - if you turn on concert pitch, you see them go down a step. So it seems they simply were entered incorrectly, like someone entered concert pitch chords while the chart was in transposed mode. Can you explain more about how those chords got there?
