MDL Drumset Broken

I am on the latest versions of Musescore and MDL.

When using the MDL drumset instrument, I have noticed that dynamics do not work and that it is stuck on the default dynamic. What can I do about this? Here are some example scores that have said issue.

I see that this staff is set to use "single note dynamics" in Staff/Part properties. Is that really true for MDL Drumset? That would be kind of surprising to me, percussion instruments aren't normally capable of dynamic change on a single note the way winds or strings are. If you turn that option off for that staff, does it help?
