Cannot split beam even with beam properties
Please see attached image. I have 4 quarter notes on the left and 6 quarter notes grouped into 2 triplets on the right. I want them to beam separately.
I tried to go to Palettes - Beam Properties but none of the options produced the YES image.
Thanks for your help!

Still Beam Properties is the way to go. And would surely work. And is only one click away from the default.
Default:
Select the 1st note of the 2nd triplet and click the "Beam middle" in the Beams palette:
IMHO though the default looks better and clearer

When you choosed a file, under "File information" click on "insert", maybe insert some additional text and at least press the button "Save"

Thank you! (Testing)
Indeed, the default is correct. Beaming the two sets of triplets together is not recommended - or rather, if that's the desired look, it should be notated a single sextuplet rather than two triplets. But still, the default (having the triplets separately) is definitely better according to the standard rules of music notation.
