subito piano sign?
Hi Wise Ones :)
Is there a Subito piano sign in MuseScore? I'm thinking 'sp'.. that actually works rather than me using text to add to the 'p'?
I can see sfp but not sp without the forte.
probably right in front of my eyes!

Add the text "subito" (in brackets) to the "p".
Then if you want, drop it in a palette for reuse

As for working, all pianos are treated as "subito" in that they take effect immediately unless they are at the end of a hairpin or follow a dim. (or cresc.).

Double click on "p" sign and write "s" next to it
