Active rit. and accel. lines
Are there any plans to support an active rit. / accel. line?
Perhaps with a property that contains the ending tempo percentage decrease / increase.
This would eliminate having to experiment with invisible metronome settings, and then having to tweak them if you change the mail tempo metronome setting of the piece or section.

See #9383: Rubato: ritardando and accelerando for the open feature request.
In the meantime you are welcome to make use of the TempoChanges plugin to minimize the experimenting with invisible metronome markings. As well as the TempoStretch plugin for scaling adjusting tempo markings.

Thank you, jeetee.
Do they remain bundled with the MSCZ when uploaded to MuseScore.com and later downloaded to a user? Or do they just generate the explicit tempo changes, so the changes become part of the score?

The plugins just alter the score with invisible tempo adjustments. You can do the same thing manually, without the plugin (which I prefer, personally).

Thanks for clarifying, Luu.
I do it manually now. I will take a look at the plug-ins though, because I often play around with the main tempo until I find the speed that I like. Each time I would have to re-do the invisibles manually. The automation might help. And I can always tweak the plug-in's decisions to taste, later on.

There's actually a second plugin (Tempo Stretch) to scale all the tempo markings for you :-)

Thanks, Marc.
I will check out Tempo Stretch as well.
But I am still voting for a native enhancement :-)
