Extra Hyphens Added to Syllables Depending on Measure Stretch
MuseScore 3.6.2.548021803
Windows 7
(My apologies if this has been addressed previously or there is a simple fix in the Style or Page settings.)
I recently discovered that if I use hyphens between syllables, the number of hyphens will increase depending on the measure stretch.
Three hyphens in a single measure between syllables is not something I have seen very often or at all so I was just wondering if this is a bug or MuseScore is supposed to function this way.
I was also hoping this could be changed/fixed to have no additional hyphens added depending on stretch and/or a way to delete extra hyphens.
The attached example should explain it.
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions you can offer.

Marvelous!!!
Adjusting the Max Dash Distance in Format > Style > Lyrics did the trick!!
I should have figured that out myself, but thank you so much for the education!!
