Chord parentheses not aligned
Hello MuseScore people,
I don't know if this is a feature or a bug, but it can be recreated this way:
- Start a new score (treble clef)
- Style > Chord Symbols > Set Modifier scaling to 0.70 and Modifier vertical offset to -4.00
- Ctrl K to enter chord: Ab(add9)
And there we are!
Two files are attached. Any wisdom on how to get that first parenthesis down?

Looks like an issue to me. The easiest way to get the first parenthesis down is to leave the modifier vertical offset at 0, since it isn't working properly anyways. I also played around with the jazz style a bit and found that the modifier offset works as expected in that style (though it looks odd with the scaling decreased, perhaps another bug?), so it may be possible to create a custom chord style that works.
Hi, 2 possible workarounds:
1) If your chord symbol si Ab(9) instead of Ab(add9) it is correctly laid out.
2) If, instead of playing with the Modifier scaling/offset, you set the Appearance | Style to "Jazz", the layout is correct (but you get the "Jazz" font).

Thanks for the replies. I'll think about the workarounds, but my preference would be that, if this is indeed a bug, then it should be dealt with at the developer end. Mind you, they've got plenty on their plate right now, so I don't expect this to be any kind of priority....
