Secure Plugin?

I am interested in this plugin (https://musescore.org/en/project/chord-identifier-pop-jazz) and wanted to ask if anyone has already tried it and can confirm that it is trustworthy and virus-free.

A good question!
I have checked the QML files and I cannot see any malicious code. There is no code accessing any files on your computer, no network handling and no email actions. I haven't used this plugin but all its actions work on the loaded score.

I've written a couple of simple plugins and plugin code is quite easy to follow for an experienced programmer. I hope that you find the plugin useful.
