Can't install doubletime_v2_0_2.qml. plugin on Mac

I am trying to install the following plugin on my macOS Monterey 12.5.1 and I am getting the following message:

Creating component failed
line 2: module "MuseScore" version 1.0 is not installed
Any ideas?

That plugin presumably is not for MuseScore 3, and not needed there either, as under Edit there's "copy double duration", see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/copy-and-paste#paste-half-double-du…

Unless, of course, if you're really using MuseScore 2.x
But then you should consider upgrading to 3.6.2
