Multiple incomplete measures
Hello,
After importing a pdf there are many incomplete (-) or longer (+) measures .
I know now how to adjust the measure to the right time signature via measure properties.
Is there a way to do it for many consecutive measures. I can only manage to do it one at the time even selecting multiple measures.
Thanks

Well, you could simply insert a bunch of new measures and copy the original content into them. But, more important than just correcting the length of the measure, somehow you have to correct the contents as well. Almost certainly, some notes are on the wrong beat in each measure. There's pretty much no getting around solving that problem one measure at a time.
Generally speaking, it's usually easier to just re-enter the music normally. People rarely believe when I say this. But often I see people still working on fixing errors in one piece over the course of a week or more, when probably entering the whole thing from scratch could be done in just a few hours.

Thanks Mark.
Assuming you've fixed up the measure contents you could go with https://musescore.org/en/project/time-signature-enforcer.
You can assign it a shortcut and save you the time from going though the measure properties dialog.

That was great! I was able to run it over the rest of the score. Saved me a lot of right-clicks ...
Most content fixes are now quite easy.
Thank you

One more thing ...
How do I add a percussion symbol within a normal score that doesn't have a percussion instrument track?
Thanks

Just enter regular notes then change the notehead either from the Noteheads palette or via the Inspector. The Inspector would also be how ti disable playback for those. Or to temporary change the instrument, see Add / Text / Instrument Change.
