Muse Hub v0.9.9 crashes on start
I am running Muse Hub on a MacBook Air (OS 11.7) and installed the original Beta release of Muse Hub. All worked fine. Launched today and it appeared to update to version 0.9.9 (creation date Nov 4, 2022). After that, when I try to launch Muse Hub a window briefly appears and then it closes.
Anyone else having this issue?

I downloaded the hub to get the beta MU4 and the sounds. So I have no further use for it. I also don't use the beta any more, but run a nightly version. Which is better than the beta.
I am having the same exact issue, macOS Big Sur 11.6.7, installing the MuseHub straight from the Beta forum post, running the .dmg, and moving it to applications. When I am not connected to WiFi, the window will open and stay open, but once connected to WiFi, it will only stay open for a second, then close automatically.

Not being a Mac person, I must ask where the Hub installed after you ran the .dmg. That's probably where it should remain. It seems like moving anything associated with MU4 can be a problem.

I did leave the .dmg in the downloads folder, moved the MuseHub application to the applications folder.

That's what I'm asking. Why did you need to move it to the applications folder? Where did you have to move it from?

Moving a dmg from a location (such as downloads) to the applications folder is how you install things on a Mac.

OK, thanks. Joseph said he ran the dmg then moved it. That's what threw me.

That's just how the install works on the Mac. You "virtually" move the Muse Score app icon to the Application Folder icon. The program then installs. It's a Mac thing...

Just so you aren't speaking into the void, I also experienced the same issue. MuseHub opens long enough to flash its window, then immediately closes. This only happens when I'm connected to WiFi.

Another way to avoid speaking into a void is to report issues with MuseHub and the development versions of MuseScore 4.x on Github - here https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues
