Deleting Measures
I'm having an unreasonably difficult time trying to find how to delete a measure from the middle of a score. I can't find it in any of the places I would assume such a feature would be.

I've spent a great deal of time trying to figure out how to delete measures as well. The explanation above doesn't account for the notation which is happening when you "click on an empty part of the meaure". This program SUCKS! Finale & Sibelius are less aggravating!! Don't waste your time on it!

It's not clear what problem you are having, but if you describe it in more detail, we're happy to assist. In general, deleting a measure really is as simple as selecting the measure and press Ctrl+Delete. And selecting a measure really is as simple as clicking an empty spot (zoom in if necessary to find an empty spot), but also, there are plenty of other ways of making selections, like clicking the first note and shift+clicking the last, etc.

When you click on an empty part of the measure, a blue rectangle appears in the measure. The blue rectangle indicates that the measure is now selected. Then you can conduct a delete operation (or a copy-and-paste action) on the entire measure.

If you are still in Note Entry mode, then yes, clicking in the bar will add another note. So exit note entry first, before trying to select the bar.

Why/how can you compare a free notation software to something like Sibelius? I'm actually confused, it's like being disappointed that a 90's beater car doesn't run as well as a brand new Mercedes. Like, duh.

Except that here the comparison does make sense.
Musescore is better than Sibelius in several ways, and musescore dev team pay attention to Sibelius/Finale/Dorico capabilities to make sure they produce the best thing they can.
