MuseScore 4 crashing on open
I've installed (and uninstalled/re-installed, both from the MuseHub and standalone) the latest version and it crashes on the splash screen every time. I've tried admin mode and various compatibility modes but no luck.
I'm on Windows 11 Pro, latest update. My audio device is a PreSonus Studio 1810c.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
RAM: 64GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
I'm also running Sonarworks/Sound ID Reference but I've tried booting MuseScore without that running and still hit the same issue.

Do you have any VST plugins installed on your system?
Also, could you please upload the contents of the
%LOCALAPPDATA%\MuseScore\MuseScore4\logs
folder? (To get there, copy-paste that path into the address bar in Windows Explorer)In reply to Do you have any VST plugins… by cbjeukendrup
Yep, tonnes of VST plugins. Fabfilter, iZotope, SoundToys, Waves, etc. I've collected a fair few over the years.
I've attached the most recent log file from the folder you mentioned (there are a bunch in there, but they all seem to contain the same data). Had to change the extension to .txt so it would let me upload here, it was originally .log.

Actually, on further examination all of the other log files contain the same data except for the very first one, which has a couple of extra lines at the end about the MuseSamplerLibHandler. I've uploaded that one below. All the rest are the same text as the previous file exactly.
I'm having the same issue. Are you getting an error code [0x715] during the crash?

I'm not seeing that particular error code in the logs and I'm not getting a popup or anything when the program crashes on my system. It shows the splashscreen that says it's loading then it disappears, that's about as far as it gets. Looking at the logs it may be something to do with it trying to open WASAPI drivers for my audio interface when it's running ASIO, but I'm not sure.

I have similar problem, but if I disable the asio driver it work right. I give up on this....I use guitar pro 8 now. My whole recording studio depend on asio I can't run something that crash it.
Mine also fails to open - I get the splash screen then nothing. Process ends up showing up as "Suspended". Attached latest launch log file.
