MuseScore 4.0 will not launch
I've installed MuseScore 4.0 from the Hub and without it, and I've tried repairing the installation. Nothing works. When I try to open the application, I get the splash screen, but then it vanishes and that's it. Task Manager doesn't show anything running related to MuseScore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothing works.
I'm running Windows 10 Home Edition, Version 22H2.

I had the same issue. For whatever reason the solution was to unplug my wireless headphones. (as mentioned in another thread)

Thanks!!
I don't have wireless headphones on my computer. But, thanks to this and other comments, I decided to go into my system settings (Windows) and swap my laptop sound settings for speakers and microphone for the usual default, which is my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. Then it worked. When I went into MuseScore's settings and tried to select the Focusrite there, it immediately crashed before I could even click OK.
The Focusrite is a pretty popular and standard interface for anyone who uses a DAW. This compatibility issue should be fixed ASAP.

I have a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 as well. I tried disabling it and changing to other sound outputs, even tried unplugging the scarlet box, but nothing helped. The loading screen opens for about 2 seconds then just closes again.
I've fixed a very similar issue on my UMC404HD by switching to 2 Channels, 41.000Hz instead of 48.000 Hz. Does that work for you?
