MuseScore 4
In version 3 there was a "screenshot" tool that allowed you to select a section or few bars of the score and print it. It was very useful for online teaching. In version 4 it is not there (or I don't know where to find it).

It really is not there (yet). See https://musescore.org/en/node/334701. In the mean time there is probably a built in screen capture facility in your operating system. Windows 10 has it [Windows Key]+[Shift]+S

I'll try it. Thanks!

The screen capture from the operating system works, but it doesn't give a pure white background, so when you paste it into a document, you can see the background. In Musescore 3, when you pasted it, you couldn't tell it was pasted. Aside from that, version 4 is great!
It's not there and was marked to be re-added in some future update.

I second the request. I use it all the time to put into lesson plans, and to use for students in presentations, etc.

Me too.
Copying a sketch of the score into a word document was a matter of a few clicks and preserved image quality where a screenshot does not. Exporting via SVG produces a file that is too large to paste into Word and the image must be trimmed to get the desired portion.
So, please, re-add this feature as soon as possible.

Yes! Please bring that feature back. Being able to take high-quality images of parts or scores was SO nice for teaching/presentations!

Badly needed for exporting SVGs.

What I have been doing is,
I export parts as SVG, extract the portion I want, or edit the whole page in Inkscape or GIMP.
Second option: I Take a screenshot with "shutter" (Linux in my case) from the excerpt I want.
The right-click mouse selection like those I have available on Frescobaldi/Lilypond would be much appreciated.
I hope it will be available in MuseScore 4.0 soon.
