Amplesound VST cannot be recognized by Musescore 4.0.
Amplesound VST is properly installed and can run independently but cannot be recognized by Musescore 4.0. Amplesound is a high-quality string instrument VST software synthesizer (mainly plucked instruments) produced in China, currently with 30 instruments, details can be found at

You will need to install the VST3 versions of these. VST2 will not work.

Thank you, I am confident that I have installed the VST 3 version.
I also have problems with AmpleSound guitar VST3i plugins.
Unlike for green2887, they are recognized by the MuseScore 4 mixer, but when I try to insert one,
it sometimes works, but most of the time MS4 crashes before I can see the plugin UI. Sometimes the plugin UI opens but says that it is unable to load the samples (although they are exactly where they are expected to be), etc...
So there is a lot of instability with all of the AmpleSound plugins I have tried (six, all are VST3i). These plugins work perfectly in other contexts like my DAW (Reaper) and are usually very stable. OTOH plugins from other editors I have tried have been working correctly with MS4 so far .
Maybe there is a relation with the VST3i format?
