Can't log into existing account on Android?
Okay, this may simply be something I'm not understanding on the difference between MuseScore.org and MuseScore.com, but I'm obviously missing something. I have subscribed as a MuseScore Pro user, but the Android app asks questions like it's never seen me before... and there is no way I can see to log into an existing account instead of subscribing again. Or is there? I'm certainly not inclined to pay for subscription twice, but subscribing is the only option I see. Assistance appreciated!

There sure is (IIRC it is pretty well hidden though), but the mobile apps are not being dealt with here on musescore.org

Hmm. It really is pretty well hidden, I've looked all over the place on this thing. Where ARE the apps being dealt with? Like I said, I'm still not sure about the .com/.org division of MuseScore... particularly if the app only applies to one or the other.

Actually if I log out of mine, it asks me to log in, doing so gets me to my account

I haven't even gotten to where I can log in on the app... on opening it, I get asked the initial rigamarole like my name and instruments played and then sent to the subscription options. If there's a "log in with existing account" link, I can't find it.

No, logging in and out on the website isn't a problem, it's getting a login prompt on the Android app. It starts at the very top "Let's get to know you" blurb, and then stops at "Choose a subscription." No opportunity I can see to log in with the premium account I just purchased a day or two ago. If there really is no facility to do that and you're supposed to pay for two subscriptions, one on PC and one on mobile, I can't see that being very useful, so I'm sure I'm just missing something.

Well, there's no profile gear icon at bottom right, but I finally stumbled upon a place to log in, quite by accident... I think it's the subscription prompt screen that has an X to close the dialog, and UNDERNEATH that is a login prompt. That is REALLY not a good app design, hopefully they'll address that in an update, but I'm in. Thanks for responding!

This still isn’t really fixing the issue. Someone that has an account shouldn’t be forced to click a bunch of buttons about what instrument, genre, or level they are at every time they need to login. Most sites have a login or create an account option from the beginning. Imagine how annoying it would be to pay for something just to have it go through the process of answering questions about making an account every time you want to login.

Thank you SO MUCH, I was about to pull my hair out and I don't have much left. Searched all over and there the X was very gray and transparent in the upper left hand of my screen

Thanks, this threat solved the issue for me: Answer the questions and when you end up at the part where you have to select a subscription, just hit the "x" at the top left.

I just found this thread after searching and searching and searching for like an hour. I have a pro subscription, but went to use the iPad app and it wanted to sell me more subscription. I never saw the “X” to close this and actually use the app until I finally saw it in the top left corner following this thread. Very annoying clickbait when you have already paid for the application!!

Thank you, I thought I was losing my mind. I can't believe that x is so hard to see
I spent hours trying to get the app to work despite having paid for a full year. I can’t tell you how annoyed I am that all this trouble could have been fixed by realising there was a little x that closed the adverts and let you use the app.
