Ditto that. I've been wondering what the six dot thing was about.
The six-dot symbol works in playback from MS4, but a tempo override does not take effect in an exported MIDI file. So far as I can tell, the only way to get a MIDI file at a different tempo is to change the tempo in the score.

It's not a "tempo override", it's a playback feature to allow you to listen to a piece at a faster or slower tempo. It doesn't alter the underlying score so it doesn't figure in any saving or export of that score..

That seems to be the case in MS4. Using MS3 I sometimes made piano accompaniments to my flute, using the mixer to mute the flute part and using the play panel to generate midi and mp3 files with increasing tempo for practice purposes, without altering the score. MS4 cannot do this.

..continuing: That was especially important in scores that have an internal tempo change, which often happens. The "play panel" method in MS3 adjusted every tempo in the piece to whatever percent was set.
