How to download older versions Muse Score sheet music reader?
How can I download version 3 or an even older one to my (obviously) older Mac? All I want to do is scan sheet music, transpose it, and print it.
When I click on "Older versions" on the website, I get a list of many, many files, but no instructions for what to do with them.
I'd be very grateful for advice!
Thanks,
MiaD.

Here is the link to the 3.0 dmg file.

Yet I'd rather not use 3.0.0, but 3.6.2
I am not sure what problem you have.
Download a version compiled for Mac OS and install it like any other software.
E.g. versions 3.x for Mac OS from here: https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/musescore-nightlies/macos/3x/stable/
Older versions can be found here: https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/musescore/releases/
For Mac OS, the files must have the extension .dmg.
My Windows PC is about 8 years old and I've no problem to run any 3.x version - unforunately not the actual MuS 4.x.

The age of the PC should not matter too much, but it'd need to be running Windows 10 or later
Thanks to all who replied. Using one of your links, I was able to download version 3, but I can't "load score from file." My score is in pdf format, and I don't recognize any of the "supported file types." Can anyone tell me how to load my score into the app?

File > Import PDF, but don't get your hopes too high, you're probably better of transcribing the score yourself

I'm giving it a try--thank you!

Well, I just got the result. The file was converted successfully to a pdf, but the action was performed by version 4, and my OS is too old to run v. 4 (I downloaded v.3), so I can't use the pdf. Sigh. This might convince me that it's actually time to get a new Mac.

Oh, that's too bad, esp. as the software behind it, Audivers, creates MusicXML, so converting that into a Mu4 mscz seems pretty ... useless
Esp. dumb if the upload comes from Mu3, which the server could pretty easily detect I think

All is good! I found a colleague with version 4 who did the transposition for me, and, thanks to your help, I was was able to show him some new things about MuseScore as well.
