Turn off auto update checking completely

We have MuseScore installed on several student PCs (with locked-down accounts) and they are being prompted to update MuseScore when a newer version is released. If they try and install it the process fails as they don't have permissions. I can see the setting is in MuseScore4.ini in their roaming profile but it is turned on by default.

Is there a way to turn off the update check for all users when installing the software?

Hi, thanks for the reply but we'd need to tell all students to do this (as it writes this setting to MuseScore4.ini in their profile) and if a student who hadn't previously used MuseScore started the application then check for updates would be turned on. What I'd like is some way to globally turn off the check for updates on a PC.
