Accessibility suggestion: Feedback for choosing/changing note lenghts
After a short radio silence I started scoring again with MuseScore as a blind user. It is a bit of a learning curve to get to it but I really like the effort put into accessibility.
I recall that in MuseScore 3, there were announcements of length changes (i.e. the new length was announced when choosing something new with the number keys, q/w, shift+q/w, etc.) Would it be possible to reintroduce that or make it opt in?

Thanks for the feedback! I don't think MuseScore ever actually read feedback directly in response to the execution of a command. However, if that command changed what was selected, then the selection itself would be read normally, so you could infer what happened based on what you hear about the selection. That is what isn't happening as consistently now - MuseScore isn't reading the new selection in all cases. It's something being worked on.

MuseScore actually gives screen reader feedback when switching between normal mode and note input mode. So I was thinking about feedback in those lines.

Indeed, that's one of the places where a special technique was used to provide that feedback. The technique used is not a good general solution it seems, but definitely this is recognized as an important area for improvement.
