Adding a piano staff introduction and/or ending to a otherwise Lead Sheet score

I want to make a lead sheet vocal line score. I don't want to write out an entire piano accompaniment, but I do want to be able to write out the piano intro and/or closing.

How do I introduce the piano staff to an already existing Lead Sheet score?

Menu path: View > Instruments
On the Instruments panel, click the Add button, choose Piano.
After all note input on the Piano part, use Format > Style... > Score > Hide empty staves within systems

Thanks! I appreciate this work around. I wish, however, that you could just insert a new type of staff where ever you wanted. Thanks, again!
