Musecore 4 says my score is corrupted
Whenever I open my score it says it corruped because the first measure is incomplete, it's a pickup measure in 2/4, the normal tempo is 6/8.

HI,
the setting of the first measure (Anacrusi) was wrong.
Here is the correct file and the attachment that shows you the exact setting.
Sorry for my english but i don't know the language.
Good music.
I inserted a measure before the second measure and it was automatically created in 6/8. I then inserted the notes into this measures, deleted the first measure and made the 6/8 into an actual duration of 4/8. I alsi changed the tempo to dotted quarter-note as it makes more sense in a 6/8 piece than an ordinary quarter-note.

This procedure is wrong.
As soon as the first measure has been inserted, you must already go to Bar Properties and set it as in my attachment. Once this is done, you can start entering notes in anacrusis.

Update to MS 4.0.2

annullato
I opened your file with MuS 3.6.2. by extracting the mscx file.
I can't see any corruption except for some strange slurs.
A shorter measure at the upbeat is normal and must work without an error message.
Try this

The musical writing of the anacrusis is not right:
we are in 6/8 so we will have 1 + 3 eighth notes and not 3 + 1.
