Want add file name and location to score
M4,W10. Tried the + and Text, nothing there for anything not score related. I like to save incremental changes, each with a different name, but once they are printed, I have a hard time telling what file they made from. Yes I know I could put in free text. but I would have to change that with every update, which is doable but error prone and forgettable. In Word and other word processing SW, you can enter a smart field that get updated when the file is saved under a different name. The pgm knows the filename and location, why can't that be a choice under + Text?
Newbie here, forgive me if the functionality is already there.

Go to Format>Style>Header and you can add metadata to the header or footer of your score. $M adds the last modification date, $m adds the last modification time, $f adds the file name, $F adds the file name and path.
See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/header-and-footer#use-metadata for more detail.

I see Creation Date $D. Is there a Creation Time as well...$d being current date...

No creation time, just modification time (and date)
Creation Date picks on File > Score/Project properties > creationDate, which is supposed to be in ISO format, YYYY-MM-DD
And thanks all, for getting back on this
