is it possible to make invisible just the 2nd. line of a 3 lines Staff, but no the notes o rest included in it.
I am playing Concert Castanets and the international notation uses a 2 lines staff. I have created my own "Concert Castanets" instrument based on the sampling of my own castanets, but to reproduce the main effects/sounds of a real player I need 3 lines. Of course when i print the score the middle line should not be visible (the notes and rests must be visible ). Is there jet this possibility in MuseScore 3.6.2 ?
Thanks for an answer.

Can you post an image of what your own castanets notation - with the invisible middle line - looks like?
In other words, do you place notes/rests on that middle line, after which those notes/rests appear to "float in mid-air" (between the two visible staff lines) once the center staff line disappears?
Also, how many different "pitches" do you need?

Thanks a lot for your answer. I attache an example of the actual used standard international notation, for players of Concert Castanets. i. e. The castanets hang on the hands and are played with the 10 fingers .
As you can see on my paper, to get a realistic sound when MuseScore plays, I need at least 5 differents sounds/pitches . In my first prototype instrument i have used until now 5 different pitches.
One way would be to hide the middle staff line by hiding it under a thicker white line:

Thank you very much for your suggestion. It is a very good workaround which has function Ok. I cann use it at least for Scores with 2 or 3 pages.
