One pesky bar
Hi. I'm using muse score 3.62. It's been functioning superbly up till now.
Today i am finding a single measure which for no reason considers itself n 3/4 when the entire ;piece is in 4/4. I have tried pasting in an existing 4/4 bar but it retains the 3/4 structure. I've shut down the app and re-started but that glitch still occurs in that one specific measure. has anybody dealt with this or have any suggestions?

To edit the properties of a measure, right-click an empty part of the measure and select Measure Properties.

and make sure the 'actual duration' is 4/4.

Thank you so much... I'm searching (and have looked in Handbook) but am not seeing where and how to select 'Measure Properties'. I'm sure it's obvious bu cannot find. apprecuiate any help you can offer.

Right clic an empty part of the measure , you got a window and in it, you have measure properties

sorry to be an idiot... but to begin with i use a Mac and there is no right click... also by empty part of the measure, does that mean a rest... or just a blank space?
I am double clicking the measure and getting a box but not seeing any 'measure properties.'

sorry it works for me, with MS 3.6.2 in an empty place it's at the bottom of the window, and it works with a note, or a rest like the picture ( I'm French)

I found some measure info at the bottom of the scorer... just have to try to find that measure propoerties window... which is not popping up...

Empty spot means no notes/rests at the right click location in that measure.

Yay!!! that worked. Thanks soi much to everyone - and I have made a giant leap in my learning of the program!!
