abc import
Hi,
I'm trying to get the abc plugin to work.
I've downloaded the plugin and put the files in the plugin folder.
I've enabled the plugin in Manage plugins.
The plugin now appears in the Plugin drop down menu but it is faded out and clicking on it does nothing.
Please help :)

Did you read this, from that plugin's page?
Due to a missing part of the Plugin API in MuseScore 4.0.0, the 4.x version of this plugin can not open the converted file directly. Instead it shows the temporary path for it and copies that into your clipboard. It then calls the normal File Open dialog.
All that is left for you, is then to paste the location of that file to open it up.

That's the XML file to open. Check that video on the plugin page

Oh, and I think you'd need to have a score open, due to another shortcoming of Mu4's plugin API
I've just added that to the instructions.

Great. Thank you. That has got me the abc dialogue box open which says "Paste your ABC tune here..."
The video shows using ABC import in Windows, i'm having trouble getting it to work in Linux Mint.
