How can I view and edit the project properties that I add as New Properties?
In Project Properties, I can't see or edit the property that I added as a New Property. What am I doing wrong?
As a workaround, I select New Property, and re-add the property with my revised value. This works, but is a nuisance -- I recently discovered the movementTitle feature, and am making frequent changes as I work. Rather than re-adding "movementTitle" and hoping I remembered it correctly, I'd like to scroll through a list of all the properties that you or I added, select the property, and edit the value.
I'm using:
Musescore 4.0.2.230651546, Revision dbe7c6d
Mac Mini M1, 2020, 8 GB Memory
Ventura 13.3.1 (a)
To recreate (Musescore 4)
Preparation:
1. Open a new score, select Style settings, Header/Footer
2. Enter in Header: $:movementTitle:
3. Select OK
Add New Property:
1. Select File > Project Properties
2. Select "New Property"
3. For Property, type: movementTitle
4. For Value, type: Style Template
5. Click OK
6. Look at score -- it works!
Edit New Property:
1. Select File > Project Properties
2. Where is "movementTitle"?
3. Workaround: Add the property again following the Add New Property steps, with the revised value.
See attached Musescore file and screenshot.
PS I'm enjoying Musescore 4 very much. Much easier to use than 3, and I've discovered features that I never knew about. Thank you to all of you who are working on it.

Hi, I can replicate this when using movementTitle. However, when I use another name for the property (for instance just movement) it works and keeps appearing in project properties.
Do you have the same result?
I have logged an issue for this: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/17598

Hi, Henk - yes, using just "movement" worked. I'm attaching results.
Thanks for the quick response!
