Will linux playback ever be fixed?
Playback not working in musescore 4 with linux users seems to be a common issue, despite this no official fix has been released for musescore 4. Pulseaudio seems to not work with musescore 4, as playback is bugged and won't play anything at all.

Playback works in Linux, just maybe not in every setup. Working fine here (I'm not using Pulseaudio, however):

You may need Pulseaudio for a specific reason but you can try with it disabled to see if sound works in MuseScore.

Appimage also works with Ubuntu 22.04 and Pulseaudio.
