How to delete miscellaneous element located between staves?
Somehow, I have a quarter-rest in between staves. I have no idea how it got there. When I select it, it indicates it is part of the Flute stave. I've selected it and 'delete' and 'edit element' without success. How do I delete it? Thank you.

If it is a rest of voice 1, it cannot be deleted.
You have accidentally moved it to a wrong position.
Select the rest and press Ctrl-R to reset its position, or drag it back to the right place. Or set it's y-offset to zero. It will always be horizontally between the two notes, where it should be. Also possible: Select the measure of the flute above or below this rest and press Ctrl-R.
