Behavior using Basic Strings Violin vs using Muse Sounds/Muse strings Violin(solo)
See attached score.
Differences using Basic Strings Violin vs using Muse Sounds/Muse strings/Violin(solo)
Muted all but Violin 1 for clarity.
1. Note Tied across bar lines playing both notes - e.g. see measures 8, 12 and 16 and many more. Basic is correct; Muse strings plays two notes.
Dynamics: erratic changes in loudness. e.g. the F in bars 5 and 9 and the D in bar 12 (which should be tied as well) suddenly softer. Basic is correct; Muse strings is erratic. Diminuendo and Crescendo are not always as expected.

Consider that most of your dynamic marks are not associated with notes. The very first p violin 2 staff is set to the top line of the viola staff. Measure 3 an4 you have an mp that diminuendos into .....mp. Most of the dynamics at the end of a hairpin are set to nothing or a barline. These dynamics and hair pins won't work. Set up dynamics on notes first. Then set hairpins "in between" them. Accents on soft notes don't seem to make much sense.
I have the same MU4 you do. The ties work.
Using Muse sounds.
I didn't try Basic sounds.
Here is another example - Test Score. a few bars with a single cello
Simply changing the instrument from Muse Strings solo cello to Basic cello it is clear that the accent tenuto works for Basic but not for Muse Strings cello.

There are plenty of things that Muse Sounds don't do as yet. You will note that basic can't play tenuto pizz. I'm not sure what that is. The accent will naturally make the note sound longer.

Here is my workaround for the accent articulation - use dynamic symbols. It does do what I need for the Muse Sounds strings.
