Ability to add note names to note heads in muse score 4?
Is there any ability to add note names into the note heads (for notation for young music students) when building notation in Musescore 4?
I know there was a plug in for MS3, but I haven't been able to find anything similar for MS4.

No plugin was needed in Mu3, it was built in and remains so in Mu4. Right-click a staff, Staff/Party properties, Advanced style properties. There you can set the noteheads to pitch name, solfege, shapes, etc. This setting affect both existing notes and new notes, so unless a plugin, you only need to do it once. even if you continue editing the score.

I'm not understanding what you mean - those pitches all exist in the "solfege fixed do" scheme, unless I'm missing something in the picture. Can you explain more detail? Or do you mean you need a different syllable for Te? I gather "Sib" would be used sometimes but that's a mouthful to place in a notehead and there isn't a standard symbol for that. But you could make one as a graphic then use it as described beklow.
Anyhow, you can add the "Si" notehead to your B's from the Symbols palette:
1) right-click one B
2) Select / More / Same note name
3) press "V" to make invisible
4) Click custom "Si" notehead in your palette (see below)
You will need to first add the custom "Si" notehead to your palette. To do this, open View / Master palette, click Symbols, then search for "Si" and scroll until you see the notehead. Now you can add it to a note, then in the Properties panel on the Appearance tab, click "To front" to make it display on top of insteadof behind the notehead. Now Ctrl+Shift+drag it to your palette. That setup only needs to be done once.

Oh, I see what you mean, with invisible elements hidden you still see the staff line. So, instead of making the original Ti notehead invisible, make it white (Appearance tab of Properties).

As far as I can tell, it is the same. Unless maybe you mean the specifics of the how you control the stacking order? That got simpler in MU4 :-)
