Please let me know hot input the rests shown in the photo

I'm having trouble inputting rests (see attached photo) in my new score. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do it. My email address is as follows:

Press 'N' - note entry mode
Press '5' - quarter note duration
Press 'd' - pitch D, and maybe correct the octave
Press '6' - half note duration
Press '0' - rest
Press '4' - eighth note duration
Press 'dot' - dotted eighth duration
Press '0' - rest
Press '3' - sixteenth note duration
Press 'g' - pitch G, and maybe correct te octave

I think you missed a "Press '0' -rest
after Press 'dot'?
