Current state of plugin development for Musescore 4???

Hi everyone — I’m wanting to port some of my Sibelius plugins over to Musescore 4, but I can’t quite work out what the current state of play is in terms of plugin development for Musescore 4. There was a note I found from Tantacrul saying that there would be some new features in a new release of Musescore, but that was all. Can anyone confirm a rough timeline? I’d like to begin in the next month or so, ideally.
