MuseScore that can compose on iPad
Can you build an iPad app of composing MuseScore? iPad is very capable for running composing MuseScore with fast chip and with keyboard it is almost same as a computer. And it would definitely make MuseScore more welcome. It would be more convenient for people using MuseScore to compose.

I’ve actually started using Dorico.
I don’t honestly understand why they don’t build one for iPad. The reason they give is that iOS is very different than MacOS. If it’s because they’re worried they can’t do it as a free app, I think they can relax and go ahead and hire the programmer who can do it. I can tell you that I would gladly pay for a MuseScore iOS app. Based on how many people are asking for an iOS app and are so disappointed when there isn’t one that a google search turns up pages of people asking for it. Yes, we all know that iOS is different but Sibelius managed to overcome that and so did other companies. Many of us MacOS people have moved to iPad Pros as our main computer and I think this is the thing the MuseScore people just don’t get. Yes, most of us are willing to pay for the iOS app even if the desktop app is free.

As long as MuseScore doesn’t give us a dumb-down version of it, I’m all for having it on the iPad Pro. And it would be awesome if they could introduce a world-class sound library as well to go along with it.
