I do not see the little piano button above score any more. What happened?

I recall the button's existence from previous versions, but I don't remember what it did. If it simply played the music, there are the normal Rewind / Play/Stop / Loop buttons in the upper right in the Play Panel.

It made a play along feature, better for if you cannot read sheet music / beginning to learn. I dont see it in the play panel, but was able to access it before.

I do not see the loop button either, in this this "piano play back mode" you were able to break the song into sections that would repeat to learn. Was there an update? What exactly happened?

If you have MuseScore 4, you will see ...
... in the upper right corner of the application. Rewind is the arrow pointing left. Play is the arrow pointing right; when the application is actually playing, that button changes to two vertical bars and means Stop. The two arrows chasing each other's tails in a square is Loop. Then there are buttons for metronome, options, time playing, current measure and beat, tempo and an Undo button.
If you don't see this and/or if you don't know what version of MuseScore you have, click on Help / About MuseScore to get the version number. If you have a version other than 4.2.1, tell us so we can know what to expect you to see.
But I'll be honest. I still don't know what a "play along feature" is supposed to do (other than play the tune). In MuS4, you can play the song by hitting the Play button and break it up into sections either by modifying the score or by using the Loop feature. As I said, I recall the piano button from previous versions, but I don't remember what it did *blush*
