Ties
I've found that when writing music on MuseScore, tied notes don't play as such- the score plays the second, and even the third note, instead of giving the desired sustain. This is true when a tie occurs within a bar, also when the tie carries through to the next bar. Any advice here?

My guess: you are using slurs (shortcut S) instead of ties (T).

Thanks, but no. All ties done off the menu. The section of my music is where I have copied and pasted a previous section for a repeat. First section acknowledges the ties, copied section doesn't.

You still haven't posted a score which demonstrates the fault.

It's OK now, thanks. Don't really know what caused this, but entering the repeat manually seems to have solved the problem.
