Percussion Instrument Change
I am having trouble changing from Xylophone to Cymbals in a piece I am writing. I have already used the "Change Instrument" setting, but the amount of lines won't change. I have no trouble changing from unpitched percussion to unpitched percussion, only from pitched to unpitched. I have done this before the other way around (from one line to multiple lines), so I know it is possible. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance :)

I can't seem to make this work. When I click on Staf Type Change it just gives me a little box above the staff.

I've not been able to figure out what that Insert staff type change button does either. This does what you want:
Go to the Instruments tab (upper left).
Click the left arrow next to "Xylophone" (or "Cymbals", whichever you are changing from?). This will show the "staff" properties. It may be labeled "Percussion" or "Treble clef" (again, not sure what you are changing from and to).
Right of the clef name, click the gear.
On the dialog box that appears, change Staff type from "Percussion Line 1" to "Standard" (or vice versa?)

It does not allow me to change Staff Type. I am trying to add a suspended cym to Marimba 1.
