Help With Ledger line format

Hi, I am new to Musescore and trying to write a simple children's song for a childrens music book. I would like my ledger lines to look like picture one(a score example I found on Musescore). Extremely simple. But every time I try, it looks has the ledger lines look like picture two. Is there a setting I could change? What am I doing wrong?

In picture 1, the notes are entered partly on the treble clef stff and partly on the bass clef staff. That minimizes the number of ledger lines. But picture 1 also omits several rests, which I personally find confusing. IMO the presence of rests would explain the notation better.

The ledger lines in the two images appear the same to me (except for the different number of them on different notes, of course). I'm not sure what you are asking for/about.

They are the absolutely same notes, but I would like them to look like picture one. (I attached it here) I don't want the ledger lines. :-) Is there a way to do this?

As DanielR has shown you but hide the rests.

Make sure you have set up your staff with piano as the instrument. This will give you two staves, the upper one with treble clef, the lower one with bass clef.
Write the C in the upper stave
Write a one beat rest in the lower stave and the write the B, A, and G
Click on the C
Hold CTRL and Click on the G
Press S on you computer keyboard.

If you really don't want to see the rests, select them and make them invisible with keyboard shortcut V. The will appear grey but will not print. Open the Publish Tab to see what the printed version will look like.

Ahh, now I understand. *blush*

The method of entering the notes separately on the two staves is one way to do it.

Another would be to begin by entering them all on the treble clef staff.

Then select the three notes that need to be displayed on the bass clef staff ...

... and press Ctrl+Shift+down arrow.

This moves the selected notes to the staff below the one they are on. I believe it only works on the two staves of the Grand Staff? As you can, you may have to flip stems and/or slurs and/or hide rests in the bass clef.

This is most commonly done when there are three voices playing and one of them is moving between left and right hand. For example, Beethoven's Piano Sonata, No. 14 ("the Moonlight Sonata"), measures 13-14:
