Tuning at 432 Hz
Please insert the "Synthesizer" tuning variation as soon as possible, as in the previous version of MS3, to be able to bring it to 432 Hz which is the classic tuning of the A 4th octave, before Hitler raised it to 440 Hz in 1943. I don't know if you know this news but it is a historical reality. The 440 Hz tuning was desired by Nazism to enhance the ringing notes of Aryan power.

I understand you opinion and I respect it, but, apart from the historical reason, I believe that being able to change the global tuning is an important feature (like in MS3) for all those who want to compose music at 432 Hz, which is, we know, the classical tuning, since it allows the frequencies of "C" to be in perfect geometric progression: C first octave = 64 Hz, C2 = 128 Hz, C3 = 256 Hz and so on. Thank you

C = 64, 128, 256 gives A = 430.5 not 432, at least in equal temperament

It is correct, but you know the difference between tuning at 440 Hz and tuning at 432 Hz? Do you know why after Mozart and Verdi music tuning was chamged from 432 Hz to 440 Hz? This is the real question.

When was there a standard a=432?
Enlighten us about why it was raised , please.

I know that many feel that Wagner's music should be played at 432Hz:

Just as well his music didn't feature in Nazi Germany, eh?

I don't understand the reason for all this controversy. My intention is just to want the tuning change selection again like in the previous MS3 version. That's all. I didn't want to raise any controversy by referring to the 440 Hz tuning. I thought it was well known that it was at the behest of the Third Reich. But... that's water under the bridge. I apologize for the controversy that arose from this misunderstanding.

Ability to select the tuning in MuseScore is perfectly legitimate.
The link between 440 and the Third Reich is unclear to me though.
Or was it already the Third Reich in 1834?

In what way C=2^n Hz would be any better than another frequency?
Wasn't 440 Hz turning established to accommodate synthesizer computers at the time?

You might want to look at the link posted by frfancha just above. (The specific bit is the second paragraph before the section titled "Current concert pitches".) Pretty sure there weren't any synthesizers in 1834. :-)
