How do I create a 2/C time signature?
In this music the time signature is 2/C. How do I put that in musescore?

What kind of time signature does it appear to mean in standard notation?
Most likely you will have to write it out, I’ve never seen this used before in music, hand-engraved or computer-engraved.

Looking at the full sheet music, it probably means 8/4.

I suppose use 8/4 or 4/2. I don’t think there’re is an option for this.
However, if you want you can create an image and put it in the score in the place of the time signature.

If there's not a built-in time signature for 8/4, then make a custom time signature: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/time-signatures#custom

You need to show a picture of at least one full measure to get an answer.

Create and use e.g. a 8/4 time signature and then change its appearance by: right-click on the 8/4 / Time signature properties / Change the text to "2 C" (for each staff, Treble clef and Bass clef)

I thought you could only use numbers for some reason.
