Stave Text option not available
I watched a youtube video showing the new features of MuseScore Studio, and one cool feature is stave text. But on when I look at the tool pallete or at the Add/Text menu, stave text is not an option. I am running MuseScore OS: macOS 14.2, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.3.2-241630832, revision: 22b46f2

I am running on Windows, but the version and revision are the same:
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64,
MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.3.2-241630831, revision: 22b46f2
Even with a language option of English (GB), the "Stave text" option may appear as "Staff text" in Add > Text > Staff text. But in the Text Palette, that same option appears as "Stave text" on my insstallation. It doesn't matter, because both spellings refer to the same element, with a shortcut of Ctrl+T.
When you add a new instance of Stave text, the new option should become visible as a speaker icon when you select the newly-placed Stave text (see Bass Trombone below):
If you then select the speaker icon (single-click), a popup screen will show you the Modify sound options available for the instrument on that stave. The popup is highlighted in red in the image below:

That thread also refers to MacOS (14.3 and 14.6).
I completely reinstalled both muse hub and muse score. I still don't see the audio icon when adding or clicking on staff text (and it still shows up as staff text and not stave text).

The icon appears only if you are using Muse Sounds (not with MS Basic).
Or (but this would be surprising, because it's not the “default”), check in menu View / Show / 'Show sound flags' should be ticked.

Yea, I finally figured that out. The documentation is not clear at all. You have to first install Muse Sounds, then restart MuseScore, then go to playback options and activate MuseSounds.

"and activate MuseSounds"
Yes, this is a prerequisite for displaying these icons.
