Trying to access mixer in 4.4.0 crashes Musescore

I downloaded the latest update a few days ago and since then, I find that Musescore crashes if I try to access the mixer. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix?

In case anyone else looks at this ... I found a fix in another post, which is to "Revert to Factory Settings" from the "Help" menu. This worked for me.
